Jusqu’au 3 novembre 2019 , le Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire invite des artistes de renom à enrichir ses espaces de leurs créations inédites, dans le cadre de sa Saison d’art. El Anatsui, Gao Xingjian, Agnès Varda, Stéphane Thidet, Sheila Hicks … Treize artistes de tous horizons investissent le Château, les Ecuries, le Parc Historique et les Galeries de la Cour de la Ferme. Un mois après le lancement de la Saison d’art, débutera la nouvelle édition du Festival international des Jardins sur le thème du paradis. Le jury est présidé cette année par le Prince Amyn Aga Khan. En marge de la sélection officielle, des « cartes vertes » seront données à des personnalités du monde du paysage comme Bernard Lassus, Leon Kluge, Pierre Alexandre Risser, Philippe Collignon et David Bitton.

A new artistic and landscaping programme at the regional domaine of Chaumont-sur-Loire 

Until 3 November 2019, the Domain’s ‘Art Season’ will invite well-known artists to embellish its spaces with new works. Artists from every background, with the likes of El Anatsui, Gao Xingjian, Agnès Varda, Stéphane Thidet, Sheila Hicks…  will be installing works in the Château, stables and farm courtyard. Less than a month after the start of the Art Season, the new International Garden Festival “Gardens of Paradise” will also begin, presided over this year by Prince Amyn Aga Khan. International landscape artists, designers, scenographers, architects and urban designers will unveil their new, ever-surprising plant projects. Alongside the official group, “green cards” will be given to figures of landscape design such as Bernard Lassus, Leon Kluge, Pierre Alexandre Risser, Philippe Collignon and David Bitton.
