Located on the ground floor of the château and accessible via a private entrance, the Montmorency apartment is designed as a duplex. The bedroom offers a breathtaking view of the park and has an adjoining bathroom.

The lower level consists of a spacious room featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a carefully decorated living area. This space opens onto the garden, which is furnished for outdoor dining and relaxation.

The apartment’s décor is inspired by the renowned Montmorency family, from whom the owner, Ivana, is a descendant. Now extinct, this illustrious family provided France with six Constables, twelve Marshals of France, several Admirals and Cardinals, numerous high-ranking Crown officers, and Grand Masters of various chivalric orders. As a tribute, we have gathered many family heirlooms throughout the apartment. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a stunning portrait of François Henry de Montmorency, Duke of Luxembourg and Grand Marshal of Louis XIV, famously nicknamed « the upholsterer of Notre Dame » because he adorned the cathedral’s walls with the banners of the foreign regiments he had defeated in battle.
