The International Garden Festival is an unmissable international event. It is an emblematic event of the Domaine dedicated to creation, imagination, poetry and nature. For several months, a selection of prize-winning gardens are open to the public for a unique show aimed at both specialists and the general public.\u2028The 31st edition of the Chaumont-sur-Loire Garden Festival will take place this year from 25 April to 5 November 2023 with night visits available during July and August. The programme of the 2023 International Garden Festival\u2028Climate change, degradation of the living world, these are the new facts with which the formerly temperate zones of the globe are now confronted. Fragility, imbalance and uncertainty are now at the heart of our concerns and imply for each of us the need to adapt to a changing climate, by minimising the deleterious effects of high temperatures, by rethinking our behaviour, by fighting against heat islands, by using new or traditional solutions, in the face of the scarcity of shade and water.\u2028Sobriety, self-sufficiency thanks to permaculture, edible forests, green corridors\u2026 everything is to be implemented to reinforce the resilience of our gardens, to anticipate, act, bounce back, and reduce vulnerabilities.\u2028This is the challenge proposed to the designers of the 2023 gardens, who have proposed projects that attempt to open up avenues that will allow the garden, a condensation of life and biodiversity, to resist the excesses of the Anthropocene.\u2028In this resilient garden to be invented and cultivated, all the constraints of our time have been considered and beautiful solutions have been proposed by the designers, who have managed to make their plot a concentrate of imagination, knowledge and know-how, to reinforce the presence of plants\u2026.

Le Festival International des Jardins est un rendez-vous international incontournable. A 50\u00a0 minutes du ch\u00e2teau d\u2019Hodebert, nos chambres d\u2019h\u00f4tes de charme dans la r\u00e9gion des ch\u00e2teaux de la Loire, est le lieu id\u00e9al pour visiter notre belle r\u00e9gion.
